Take 30% Off $200+ or 20% Off $100+ at Madewell

"Thanks!" to many of you, who let us know about the following promotion this morning.

Madewell is offering customers to take an extra 20% off purchases of $100 and an extra 30% off purchases of $200+, with promo code WINWIN. The offer expires September 21, 2015. The fine print includes:
Offer valid in Madewell stores and at madewell.com from September 16, 2015, 12:01am ET through September 21, 2015, 11:59pm ET. 20% discount valid on purchases of $100 to $199.99 and 30% discount valid on purchases of $200 or more before taxes are added. Offer not valid on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash or used in combination with any other offer. Offer not valid on Rivet & Thread items; leather jackets; the Transport Tote and the Transport Weekender; and The Cambridge Satchel Company®, Penfield®, Ulla Johnson™ and Chimala® merchandise. In-store discount automatically taken at the register. To redeem online, enter code WINWIN in the promo code box at checkout. Limit one promo code per order. Offer valid in the U.S. only. Terms of offer are subject to change.
I love that this promotion applies to both regular and sale priced merchandise. But it is worth noting that there are some exclusions, like the Transport Tote.

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion? What item are you hoping to pick up? Please share!

  1. I went today to make a return. Tried on a few things, and was pleased with a few items that I may buy using the promo. The Tailored Tee in bowling green, the Pull-On Jumpsuit-a surprise fit, with the length being the only problem, which can be hemmed. I tried an XS, and might want to go for an XXS. It's pretty blousy-roomy at the chest, plenty of room for my 36B chest.

  3. Not sure if I will be taking advantage as I already purchased something from Madewell online a few days before this promo (the oversized button down shirt in stripe). However, I could always use a few more shirts...

  4. I'm going to the store in georgetown, washington, D.C. tomorrow to check out some of the bags that are included in the promo. the georgetown store has a personalization machine and is offering free embossing on all madewell bags - including previously purchased ones - all weekend, so I'll be taking in my mini transport crossbody and my watertower messenger bag, and I may pick up the lafayette bucket bag and mini glasgow satchel as well. a little disappointed that the student/educator discount doesn't stack with WINWIN, but madewell bags are so often on any kind of sale that I'm definitely going to take advantage.

  5. I got a couple of Madewell x Sezane popbacks this morning. Looking forward to trying them. I try quite a bit of Madewell, some stuff doesn't work but the ones that do are some of my closet favorites.

  6. I posted a few reviews on my IG for those who plan on taking advantage of the promotion. So far I got the hashtag shirt and the suede Billie booties in otter but I have a couple of things on hold at my store (jeans and double-breasted sweater jacket that I am probably going to pick up tomorrow)
I really recommend the double-breasted sweater jacket, it will stand the test of time IMO.
