  1. That ratti tropical print is amazing! I wish it was included in the 40 off promo. Also like the cherry and watermelon tops...This is the best rollout in awhile

  2. Agree about the tropical print, so pretty and fresh. Love the Linen Dress with Eyelet Detail, very disappointed it's not offered in petite.
Carrie dress in Retro Floral, Striped Rory pant, again, no petite, not sure how it will look on my 5'3" self.
Intrigued by the Safari Shirt Jack, not sure how to style it, though.

    1. I like the safari jacket, too. I saved it in my wish list, but removed it because I don't know how else to style it. With blue skinny jeans? No. It only looks cute how it was styled in the catalog.

  3. I like the banana muscle tee, the gauze mini skirt in navy/green, and the seersucker top and skirt. Wonder how the top and skirt looks and feels IRL? Has anyone seen it in store?

    2. Here's the link to Ina's IG. She is graciously reviewing some other items as well.

    3. Thanks ladies! I follow Ina and saw her post earlier. I might stop at a store to try it on instead of ordering online, in case it doesn't work out.
Ah (sigh)...so hard to quit you J.Crew. Especially during the fall season. :-D

  4. One work dress I really like but it's excluded from promo, I can't wear the other off the shoulder dresses to work. I'll sit back and wait until things start getting marked down and look forward to fall.

  5. Love the Collection Austrian lace dress.

I bit on some sale stuff - the navy/multi linen jacket and cropped pants (as a suit). Not sure it will work since the reviews indicate that it is heavy and lined - too hot for summer. I bought some cotton Jackie shells too despite the reviews complaining that they are too short. We'll see.

    1. Very irritating that J Crew describes this beautiful dress as having a "nude" lining. Even more egregious given that the stunning model has an obviously darker skin tone than the lining. I thought the fashion world had stopped with the tone-deaf "nude" thing years ago.

    2. This dress is gorgeous. It was the only thing that really caught my eye. Of course, my favorite dress with the Ratti print is the collection silk ruffle dress that is $550. I also like the Le Siranuse caftan.

    3. Wow - that dress is sold out already - and it wasn't even eligible for the promo!

    4. Out of my price range and no where to wear it, but I think that dress is gorgeous. I'm not surprised it sold so quickly

    5. I actually ordered it yesterday morning (even though its out of my price range, too -- but I did have a 20% coupon). It was too beautiful to not at least see. It reminds me a little of a Self Portrait dress, which are three times that price, so bargain? I'm glad I ordered it now that it is sold out. I noticed that sometimes when I add really special collection pieces to my wishlist, they immediately say "only a few left." It makes me think that there a not a whole lot of the pieces made.

The silk ruffle into the wild ratti dress is now sold out in my size, too. I definitely couldn't justify both, and I have a similar (albeit solid colored) ruffle maxi dress from Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent (via Anthropologie) from a few years back.

  6. Nothing from this rollout is a must have for me - I, too, will wait for things to hit sale and look forward to pre-fall. I've been happily shopping my closet for summer outfits - including old school Crew colorful printed pencil skirts and capris. I still get excited when I pull these out of the closet. :) The summer season is so short where I live - I have been buying more warm weather items than I need and barely wearing them.

  7. I really like the Ratti 'into the wild' print, but not sure I can (want to) pull off that much print right now. I do love that J Crew made the inseam of the pant 34"-shorter ladies can have them altered, but it at least makes the pants an option for taller girls.

  8. I ordered the easy line midi skirt in white last week. Will receive it tomorrow and hope it works. That's the only thing I'm ordering at this point. Really like the Into the Wild print too; this is a great print for vacation. The only thing that works for me in that regard is the off shoulder dress. Wish there were a pair of shorts or a cami in this print. I like the look of the Thomas Mason ruffle skirt, but don't think I'd get much wear out of it. So, if it makes it to sale, I may go for it. The Carrie dress in stripe is very pretty too and I like the Figue metallic gold sandals. I'll wishlist them and see if they make it to sale.

  9. Meh. Waiting on Fall at this point.

  10. I bit on the linen gingham shorts, a garment dyed muscle tee, jean shorts in merrill wash, and the Crystal cluster necklace. Might get the striped gemmas later today (I just got the red and like them but they are a little tight/not as comfy as my sloans). I have three sizes of the martie pants in gingham to decide on (petite in my normal size did not zip up and one size up in petite might be too short so i'm waiting for one size up in regular length to see) -lep33shops

  11. Ugh... third JC order in 2 weeks. So far, I've kept none of it, which is why I'm so nervous about final sale on two items I bit on today: Silk cap-sleeve dress in mirrored floral, and the colorblock striped skirt. I need summer shoes after my last pair of JC flat sandals died over the weekend - only had them for two summers, and the sole came off - I also grabbed the Cary wedges in the plaid print, and Suede ankle-wrap wedges in navy. The last two pairs of JC shoes I ordered had to go back due to um, ugliness on my feet, so I don't have high hopes for this order. But the fs + 40% off was so hard to ignore.

  12. Nothing for me this time as I'm still waiting for my order from last Tuesday when they had 40% off and free shipping (it hasn't even shipped yet).
On another note I was watching 'Mary Poppins' with my daughters last night and finally realized why the candy stripe items look so familiar to me..... Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (Um diddle, diddle diddle, um diddle ay ;)

    2. @Lauren, haha re) the Mary Poppins reference! I haven't seen that one in ages, but I can totally see what you mean.

  13. Walked through a store this morning. It occurred to me that all the j.crew colors that are salmon or orange when they're at home need a vacation. Maybe til Halloween.

  14. Has anyone yet spotted the Ratti print Boy Shirt in their local brick and mortar J Crew? I love the looks of it from the website...

    2. Thanks for the tip! That's on my way home from work, uh oh : )

    3. Report back! I like that print a lot, but some of the other items seem like too much for the rest of my wardrobe.

  16. I ordered the flutter sleeve top in the ratti print and the seersucker midi. Hoping both items are a hit!

  17. It's official; I'm getting 'sucker' tattooed on my forehead.

After promising myself I wouldn't getting sucked into buy with the lure of free shipping I found my hand on autopilot during a break today and before I came to my sense a lightweight fleece Henley that was originally $98 CDN and with the promo was $24.99 was in my checkout basket.

    Oh it's only $25; that's like a pizza I told myself. When will I learn? #noselfcontrol

  18. I ordered the seersucker midi skirt. I had a $25 off that I was able to use + plus free shipping makes me a happy girl.

    OT - small rant:
I ordered the micro pleated skirt in lilac on June 8th. J.Crew states that they shipped it to Borderfree on the 9th. I just got an email today that it finally shipped! Took them 5 days to ship it out?!?! That's crazy!

    1. PS: Customer Service said it will still take 2-9 days for me to receive it. 2-9 days from the date of purchase or from the day Borderfree ships it? UGH!!!

  19. I love the Thomas Mason ruffle skirt, item # f2867, but hate that it's in gingham.
J.Crew if you're reading this, can we get a rollout of the skirt this fall in suiting material, please.
