  1. OT, but get a $25 gift card when you spend $125 at Madewell. Not the world's greatest promotion, but there's so many cute new arrivals.

  2. Can anyone recommend a VPS to help me track down an item?

    1. Call the Houston Galleria Store and ask for Ashley, she is in the store but she is awesome. She helped me find the last perforated white drawstring bucket bag in the world last week!!! Got it yesterday.

  3. I finally had a chance to try on the sale items I ordered online while on vacation. Here are my favorites.

The collection striped sweater dress is a really nice dress if you can find the right size in a popback. Yes, this dress runs really big. I can wear an XS; could probably size down to an XXS & I'm a size 8. That's just how big this dress runs. The issue is the stretchy nature of the fabric.

The collection embroidered top in white; this is a really cute top that's light & airy. The cotton feels really nice next to the skin & the fit is tts. But I sized up to have more room in the bust. I'll wear a strapless bra; someone who's less busty may be able to wear a tube bra. This top will pair well as styled on Pinterest with the gazebo white linen pant; also plan to wear with garden linen shorts in white. Can also pair with denim too.

Collection Ratti Into the Wild print pant. The material on the pant is well done & the print is vivid & saturated. The fit was tts even after all of my vacay indulgences. I'm over 5' 8" so the length wasn't an issue. I wore them with a 2" spectator Chanel mule & the Thomas Mason Tunic shirt from the clearance store for $28. Really happy I chose this option for the print. I posted pics of this outfit on IG (peterst1).

Stripe bow tie sleeveless top and striped culotte pants. Both fit tts & can be paired together or alone. I like the cotton on both and I didn't have any issues with tying the bow. This top is very versatile; I can see pairing this top with prints too. The pant has a size zip. I was stripe sick, so I wore them together with a wide navy belt & the Elsie Geometric ankle tie pumps. These pumps have a really cute silver glitter heel; the gold heel straps are a little cheesy because the gold is so bright. But it's definitely not a deal breaker. I ordered my usual size 10 in shoes.

Collection cashmere blend fair isle skirt. I stalked this skirt and was finally able to catch it on popback. Fit was tts in a medium. The material feels soft & substantial; there's some stretch/give in the material. Just what you'd expect for this type of skirt. There's a modest slit in the back. Print is really nice & well done; this is the first time I've bought a fair isle print and I'm happy with this one. Will be a staple for upcoming fall/winter.

St. Barth palm tree tee in medium. This tee is really cute; fit was tts for me. Not sure why the online reviews are complaining about running small.

    1. Thanks for including a review of the Collection Embroidered top. There was a pop-back in my usual size a few days ago but I let it slip away as the reviews were mixed as to whether it was TTS or ran big. Hopefully another one will pop back soon.
